So if we build a computer powerful enough to simulate the entire universe, and it tries to simulate itself, will it create an information black hole, sucking Ms. Pac Man and Boards of Canada into the abyss (or perhaps transcendance?).
Yes, compute the entire universe…I want to check my email with a cloud, and play tetris on a dead pigeon in the Tenderloin.
Really, I find more interesting than reductionism, how the universe builds up complexity from the atomic state of information.
